I've been meaning to post my testimonial for the past couple weeks but haven't had time.

I have been cf'ing for 4 years now and found out I was pregnant last December - I opened my own affiliate in January so I was slightly bummed to scale down the WOD's but I really listened to my body and CF Mom. I had to stop working out at 34 weeks because I was getting out of breath a lot and ended up in the ER and was told to put the wod's on hold until after the baby.

I went into labor 3 weeks labor - I woke up in the morning with cramps but thought it was the cheat meal I had the night before (Chinese food). I coached at the gym all day and when I got home around 3 I complained of a back ache...my husband urged me to call the DR and said I didn't look right. My DR had given me an instruction sheet for labor - all my symptoms were on the "normal" side of the sheet...so I felt stupid calling. They sent me to the hospital and I fought my husband the whole way there - I didn't want to go, thought they'd send me home after having to spend 6 hours there...not to mention I was hungry and they definitely don't feed you there.

Well, long story short, I was 5 cent. dialated, 90% effaced when I got there....Gunnar was born that night after less than 5 minutes of pushing. He weighed 6.6lbs and was 20 inches. I did end up getting an epidural which I planned on - my contractions were really strong after they broke my water. My DR joked with me that I should advertise a "2 push labor" at the gym. Everyone was really impressed with how fast he came out and how easy it was for me to push him. My recovery has been great and I was able to work out 5 weeks later....I have to admit that the Filthy 50's was my first WOD back and it was harder than labor. I can not say enough about how amazing CF is for pregnant women.

Thank you Andrea and everyone else who gave me advice during this time!
