4 days ago on Sat. the 9th, after a very fast 7hr labor, my hubby and I welcomed a little girl, Cassidy into our family. She was born 5lbs 6oz and healthy as a horse for a wee one.
She was my second CF baby and I have to say this labor was fairly easy and not as painful as the first. I was walking around and putting laundry away and dealing with a teething, feverish 16month old, so not realising how close my contractions were I arrived at the hospital with them 30 seconds apart, 5cm dilated and her head +4, but still able to walk...kinda crazy. SHe was born 2 hrs later in only 9 mins of pushing.

Recover is just as great. I only feel lilke I went on a bike ride with a new seat. Much better than first delivery which was induced with complications. I was up and walking without any issues right away and felt great.

CF definatly makes a huge difference for delivery and for post-natal recovery. I am so happy that I had a healthy pregnancy and could CF to the end and I am looking forward to starting my postnatal training.
