Hi Ladies

Does anyone have thoughts on how to approach the first few weeks of a potential pregnancy, before you've had it confirmed? If you think you might be pregnant (and want to stay that way!), is it OK to carry on as normal with CrossFit, or should you scale back a little on the intensity / type of exercise?

Once you have had your pregnancy confirmed, I'm assuming it is best to tell your coaches right away?

Just wondering how any of you handled this somewhat tricky time.

Thanks! Really happy I found this super duper site and forum :-)

If you think you may be pregnant, lower your intensity a little, until you know for sure. Once confirmed, yes, tell a coach right away. You can ask them to keep it private, but they need to know. Otherwise, not a whole lot changes in the first trimester. Good luck!

Just a happy note to say my intuition was right: I am indeed pregnant. Due end of Feb. Will make lots of use of this site between now and then, I'm sure!

Congratulations! Watch intensity, stay off the GHD and don't go up in weight. Otherwise, have fun! :)
