Hi! I've been using this site pretty regularly, so I figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm Andrea, and I'm pregnant with #2, and actually just starting Crossfit. I had been doing "bootcamp" style workouts and running 10+ miles a week before getting pregnant (about 5 months of that) and then my husband really got into Crossfit so I decided to join him! I'm doing the "beginner" challenges, and watching my body and making sure I don't do too much. Most of the stuff I had been doing before (squats, pushups, wall balls, and that sort of thing) I just didn't call it crossfit.
I'm loving it so far. It feels good to workout. With my first I just ran/walked - and had a super speedy delivery - 4 hours. I'm hoping to stay in shape this time and get back to my pre-pregnant body a little quicker this time... After #1 it took me over a year. once I started really working out I lost it pretty quickly (2 months I lost about 15lbs).
I was in better shape than I had ever been in before getting pregnant with #2. This one was a surprise so I was a little upset that I got 3lbs away from my goal and then found out I was expecting - but we are excited now and looking forward to finding out what #2 is (3 weeks!) and then I can't wait to really start my workouts after #2 gets here!
